CAN gallery, established in 2012, is an art gallery that showcases the finest contemporary art talent in the city and collaborates with the estates of artists who were once renowned but have since been overlooked or forgotten. Formerly located in Kolonaki, a prestigious shopping district, the gallery relocated to a vibrant spot in the heart of Athens near Omonoia square in June 2024. This move signifies CAN gallery's ongoing dedication to nurturing a diverse array of artistic talent while remaining relevant, and providing a dynamic space for creativity and innovation.
The gallery presents an intensive program of monthly or bimonthly shows and is one of the most active spaces in the city. The artist roster displays an accurate representation of form and context that aims to create an environment for viewers and collectors to experience the newest and most challenging in contemporary art. The gallery supports young talent and works closely with curators, institutions and collectors with a philosophy of producing and presenting thoughtful, exciting, innovative work and thought.
